The Overview for this Position
The ROCK Center is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to support and expand our arts-based Peace Warrior out-of-school programming. Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with program staff, the ideal candidate will lead in-person programming, foster student engagement, and strengthen community partnerships to enhance the social-emotional and mental wellness of the communities we partner with.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary facilitator for in-person programming at partner schools and community sites.
Lead student recruitment efforts and ensure effective program implementation.
Coordinate with partner artists and community collaborators.
Track and collect program data to measure impact and effectiveness.
Teach and mentor students, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals.
Participate in the wider work of The ROCK Center serving as an ambassador for the vision and mission of The ROCK Center
This role is ideal for someone passionate about youth development, the arts, community based mental wellness, and cultivating authentic relationships as an act of building inclusive and welcoming community.
Position Responsibilities We believe in a collaborative co-created model. This list is meant to identify some specifics, but much of the workflow will be managed in conjunction with the Executive Director, Associate Director, and Program Team. These are some of the day to day tasks but the right candidate will help guide, inform, and implement their own work flow to support the work of The ROCK Center The Practice of Community and Being We believe strongly in the practice of cultivating community, connections, and inner being as a primary focus of our collective work. Compensation and Benefits
Salary range is between $32,000-$35,000 annually
Flexible working hours; with ability to adjust for busy times and slow times. The goal will always be focused on the work being advanced.
School and Community partnerships dictate evolving programmatic work schedules, and thus hours scheduled can vary based on these partnerships. Generally speaking we follow a school year calendar including offering 4 weeks of summer based programming.
Unlimited Paid Time Off to be utilized in discretion and coordination with ROCK Center Leadership Team
