Honoring Xion Culp: A Legacy of Opportunity
On October 18th, we tragically lost Xion Culp, a recent Rangeview High School graduate and program assistant for the ROCK Center’s Peace Warrior program. Xion will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and ability to connect deeply with those around him.
To honor his legacy, the ROCK Center has created the Xion Culp Memorial Experiential Scholarship Fund. This fund will provide opportunities for youth ages 10-21 to participate in transformative experiences like sports camps, retreats, and leadership events—opportunities that helped shape Xion’s own journey.
By breaking down financial barriers, this fund will ensure that Xion’s light continues to shine through the lives of the youth it supports.

We are beyond ecstatic to welcome @jaimelantern to our team as our new (and first) associate director.

Jaime has been a part of the ROCK Center story since the early days of our Peace Warriors Summer camps and we are so glad to finally have her on the team full time!

She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our work and will be focused on helping develop our internal systems of data evaluation and storytelling along with helping to infuse mental wellness practices and insights into all of work!

Join us in officially welcoming her to the team!

Back to Programming Time here at the ROCK Center!

We are so excited to welcome Rachel to the team as one of our new Associate Program Directors and Teaching Artists.

Rachel is an artist, facilitator, and organizer focused on cross-sections of storytelling, communal care, and social justice. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree with a concentration on ecological justice. Alongside her work at the ROCK Center, she is actively involved with community-engaged research on cooperatives, cultivating models for regenerative education, and participating in mutual aid.

Raised in New England and having lived in St. Louis and Chicago before moving to Denver last year, Rachel is excited to continue deepening her roots and connections across Colorado. She has worked as a teaching artist, organizer, and advocate across diverse spaces.

Although a writer and visual artist at her core, Rachel loves to take part in and be around all creative forms, especially those that involve performing, sharing stories, and building relationships with others. She also enjoys climbing, caring for animals, growing food, and traveling. She loves to spend as much time with trees and water as possible.
